Let’s Write: A Four-Part Journey

Exploring Self through Prose and Process with Cindy Fleischer

You don’t need to be a writer! This unique and dynamic approach to personal development is an engaging program designed for individuals who may not have prior experience with writing or journaling if you are an avid reader or writer this will be a wonderful exercise.

This program combines the expressive nature of creative writing with select poems and prose, as well as the enriching elements of coaching, to guide participants on a journey towards increased self-awareness, clarity, and insights. Be delighted as you are guided through select readings. Immerse yourself as you are led not only in the art of crafting prose but also in the invaluable exchange of perspectives, making this journey an exploration of self through both individual reflection and collective discourse. 

We will delve into the profound connections between personal narratives, literary exploration, and the shared experiences that shape our understanding of self.

How Does Let’s Write Work?

  • Let’s Write is a four-week program offered in the evenings. Please note that for our first session, we will meet for two hours then each weekly session will be 90-minutes in duration. This program is expected to launch in May!

  • Hosted via Zoom, participants engage in curated writing prompts and selections of prose, fostering a collaborative environment for shared learning and growth.

The Sessions

Below are the four topics that we will cover during each session.

Session 1: "Self-Awareness & Expression"

In this foundational session, participants will engage in interactive activities and writing exercises crafted to tap into their skills for observation and open the channels for creative flow. Through guided prompts, reflection and discussion, attendees will delve into the initial stages of self-awareness, laying the groundwork for the introspective journey ahead.

 

Session 2: "Reflective Writing with Literary Inspirations: Memory, Prose, and Poems"

Session two guides participants through the art of reflective writing, drawing inspiration from literary giants. Utilizing prose and poems, attendees will translate memory into language. This session introduces an element of craft providing a further platform for participants to explore. By combining writing with craft, prose, and poetry, attendees will address their experiences from multiple vantage points, fostering a holistic approach to self-awareness.

Session 3:  "Continuing the Journey: Craft and Exploration"

As a seamless extension of session two, this installment builds on the foundation of writing with literary inspirations. Participants will continue to explore the art of writing, excavating memory with prose and poems. Using coaching tools and writing prompts to explore along with literary devices, attendees will continue to translate experience to the page.

 

Session 4: "Reflection and Integration: Crafting Your Aesthetic"

Fostering a collaborative environment for participants to celebrate their individual learning and insights, this final session serves as a platform for reflection and integration of the lessons learned throughout the program. Participants will create a personal aesthetic statement including a plan for ongoing self-discovery. 

Meet Cindy Fleischer

Cindy comes to Think Good Coaching & Consulting as a coach and leadership development facilitator. Certified in DiSC, ELI, Coaching, Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, and Sustainability Reporting, Cindy, a former Chief Operating Officer, brings a wealth of expertise.

Balancing her time, she now volunteers as a committee leader for a national grant making organization, showcasing extensive experience with nonprofits.

Currently pursuing an interdisciplinary research graduate degree, Cindy integrates poetry and prose into her programs.

As a co-founder of GracieCoCo, she cultivates community through taste, supporting nonprofits in friend and fundraising. Join Cindy on a transformative journey where leadership, creativity, and philanthropy converge.

Program Logistics

  • Let’s Write is an interactive, live virtual series held on Zoom.

  • It is a four-week commitment.

  • On the first session, we will meet for two hours then each weekly session will be 90-minutes in duration.

  • Sessions will begin at 6:30 pm.

  • The maximum number of participants is ten. 

  • Please have a notebook or a page open on your computer for writing.

  • Recording any portion of the program is not permitted.

The Investment

  • The total cost for the four-week commitment is $400. You have the option to either pay in full or make four monthly payments.

  • To secure your spot, please make a $40 deposit.

  • Once registration for the program closes, we will send you an invoice to pay in full ($360 after deposit) or set up your monthly payments ($120 a month for each of three months after deposit).
